When Bitty & Beau’s Coffee expanded its nationally recognized coffee brand into a mobile franchise model, The Hudson Trailer Company helped bring the Coffee Cruiser to life.
Designed as a fully functional mobile extension of the Bitty & Beau’s Coffee experience, the Coffee Cruiser allows franchise owners to serve coffee at festivals, sporting events, college campuses, private events, community gatherings and pop-up locations without the footprint of a traditional brick-and-mortar coffee shop. Bitty & Beau’s describes the Coffee Cruiser as a mobile franchise designed to bring its brand and mission directly into communities.
A Custom Mobile Coffee Shop
The Coffee Cruiser was developed around the requirements of a working commercial coffee operation.
Every major system was considered as part of the build, including equipment placement, barista workflow, refrigeration, water systems, electrical loads, storage, counter space, and customer service.
The result was a mobile coffee trailer that functioned as a true extension of the Bitty & Beau’s Coffee brand rather than a conventional concession trailer.
Designed Around the Brand
The exterior of the Coffee Cruiser was designed to be immediately recognizable as Bitty & Beau’s while maintaining a clean, polished appearance appropriate for events and public-facing activations.Inside, the layout focused on efficient beverage production within a compact footprint, allowing the trailer to support commercial coffee service without the space requirements of a traditional café.
Built for Mobile Coffee Service
Mobile coffee projects require careful coordination between equipment, plumbing, electrical systems, refrigeration, cabinetry, storage, and workflow.For the Coffee Cruiser, The Hudson Trailer Company developed the interior around the operating needs of the coffee program so that each system worked together within the available footprint.
The project demonstrates how a thoughtfully designed mobile platform can allow an established hospitality brand to create a flexible, highly visible service environment outside of a permanent location.
