A vintage Airstream converted into a custom commercial kitchen for Montauk Yacht Club.
Montauk Yacht Club wanted more than a distinctive food trailer. Its hospitality team needed a working kitchen that could support food and beverage service while complementing the property’s waterfront setting.
The Hudson Trailer Company developed a vintage Airstream conversion around that brief, bringing cooking, refrigerated preparation and counter service together behind the trailer’s recognizable aluminum exterior.

Planned around the culinary team
The layout was developed with the food and beverage team, balancing cooking equipment, refrigeration and preparation space within the Airstream’s curved body.
A griddle and fryers support hot-food service, with refrigerated preparation space positioned across the working aisle. Commercial ventilation, sinks and integrated water systems provide the supporting infrastructure behind the menu.
The Hudson Trailer Company adapted the structure around the cooking hood to preserve working clearance—a practical detail that makes the vintage shell function as a kitchen.

A welcoming window onto the property
A wide, upward-opening service window creates a clear connection between the team inside and guests outside. Separate staff access keeps entry into the kitchen away from the ordering counter.
The result combines the character of a vintage Airstream with a purpose-built hospitality space, giving Montauk Yacht Club another way to bring food service into the guest experience.
