Hudson Trailer Company | Design, Fabrication and Mobile Hospitality

About The Hudson Trailer Company

Custom Mobile Hospitality, Built Differently

Hudson Trailer Company is a design and fabrication company based in Jacksonville, Florida, creating custom mobile hospitality, food and beverage, retail, and branded activation spaces. We work with resorts, golf and country clubs, real estate developments, hospitality groups, municipalities, national brands, and entrepreneurs who want something more distinctive than an ordinary concession trailer or food truck.

Our work begins with how a space must function. We consider the menu, service volume, equipment, workflow, utilities, storage, transportation, guest experience, and visual identity before developing the design. The result is a custom project that not only attracts attention but also supports the people who operate it every day.

From polished vintage Airstream bars and fully equipped commercial kitchens to mobile pro shops, visitor centers, step vans, vintage trucks, and branded experiential vehicles, Hudson Trailer Company creates spaces designed to become a meaningful part of the property or brand they represent.

Our Story

Hudson Trailer Company was founded in 2015 by Suzanne Hasz in New York’s Hudson Valley. What began with the transformation of a vintage 1959 Shasta trailer grew into a mobile event-rental business and, ultimately, a national custom design and fabrication company.

The company’s roots in vintage trailers continue to influence the way we approach design today. We understand the visual power of an iconic vehicle, but we also understand that appearance alone is not enough. A successful mobile space must be durable, efficient, properly equipped, and designed around its intended use.

As demand for custom builds grew, Hudson Trailer Company expanded beyond event rentals and began creating projects for clients throughout the United States and beyond. The company later moved its production operations from the Hudson Valley to Jacksonville, Florida, where our team now designs, fabricates, and coordinates custom projects from concept through delivery.

What We Build

Hudson Trailer Company specializes in custom mobile and specialty commercial spaces for hospitality, food and beverage, retail, tourism, and experiential marketing.

Our portfolio includes mobile bars, commercial food trailers, coffee trailers, vintage Airstream conversions, step vans, vintage trucks, buses, Piaggio Apes, mini trucks, mobile retail spaces, visitor centers, brand activation vehicles, shipping-container kitchens, restroom trailers, and custom amenity structures.

Some clients come to us with a clear platform in mind. Others begin with an operating need: beverage service on a golf course, a poolside kitchen for a resort, an early-activation amenity for a real estate development, a mobile visitor center, or an experiential space capable of traveling between events.

We help determine which platform, size, layout, and equipment package will best support the project. Each concept is developed around the intended use rather than forcing the operation into a predetermined shell.

Authentic Vintage Platforms and Ground-Up Custom Builds

Hudson Trailer Company is especially known for transforming authentic vintage trailers and vehicles into modern commercial spaces. We believe provenance matters. A genuine vintage Airstream, truck, or trailer brings character, history, and credibility that cannot be fully recreated by a newly manufactured shell designed to imitate the original.

When an authentic vintage platform is the right choice, we evaluate its size, condition, structure, restoration requirements, and suitability for the proposed equipment. We then preserve the qualities that make the unit recognizable while rebuilding it for modern commercial use.

Not every project requires a vintage donor. Hudson Trailer Company also designs and fabricates new custom trailers when a ground-up commercial platform offers the best capacity, efficiency, consistency, or long-term operating value. The correct solution depends on the project, and our role is to recommend the platform that best serves the client’s goals.

Who We Build For

Hudson Trailer Company works with clients who view the project as an extension of their property, operation, or brand.

For golf courses and private clubs, we create mobile bars, kitchens, pro shops, comfort stations, and on-course hospitality experiences. For hotels and resorts, we develop poolside bars, beach-service units, seasonal kitchens, event-lawn activations, and mobile food and beverage concepts.

For real estate developers, we create early-activation amenities, temporary hospitality spaces, visitor centers, sales-support environments, and distinctive features that can serve a property before or after permanent facilities are completed.

We also work with tourism organizations, municipalities, retailers, food and beverage companies, national brands, and select entrepreneurs requiring a professionally designed commercial space.

Whether the project is one highly specialized unit or the beginning of a multi-location program, we approach it as part of the client’s larger guest experience and operating strategy.

More Than 200 Custom Projects

Hudson Trailer Company has completed more than 200 custom projects for clients across the United States. That experience includes compact beverage units, full commercial kitchens, restored vintage vehicles, retail spaces, branded activations, and multi-unit hospitality installations.

Every project presents a different combination of design, equipment, structural, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, ventilation, storage, branding, and transportation requirements. Our experience across a wide range of platforms allows us to anticipate how those elements affect one another before construction begins.

We do not believe that customization means improvising as the project progresses. It means carefully developing a solution around the client’s actual needs, documenting the decisions, coordinating the major systems, and building toward an approved direction.

Founder Suzanne Hasz

The Hudson Trailer Company was founded in 2015 by Suzanne Hasz in New York’s Hudson Valley. What began with the transformation of a vintage 1959 Shasta trailer quickly grew as clients began asking for custom mobile bars, commercial kitchens, retail spaces, and one-of-a-kind vintage vehicle conversions.

As the projects became larger and more complex, the company expanded its capabilities, moved its operations to Jacksonville, Florida, and developed into a full-service design and fabrication company serving clients throughout the United States and beyond.

Today, The Hudson Trailer Company is led by Suzanne and her business partner, Dave, and supported by a talented team of experienced professionals, fabricators, craftsmen, designers, and project specialists. Together, the team brings creative thinking, practical problem-solving, commercial experience, and skilled craftsmanship to every project.

The strength of The Hudson Trailer Company comes from the people who turn an idea into a finished commercial space. Our team combines design, fabrication, metalwork, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, equipment coordination, vintage restoration, project management, and client service.

Each project requires collaboration across multiple specialties. Our professionals and craftsmen work together to develop spaces that are visually distinctive, structurally sound, commercially functional, and built around the way the client intends to operate.

Suzanne and Dave remain closely involved in the company’s direction and project development, while the broader team contributes the technical experience and hands-on craftsmanship required to bring each build to life.

Selected Clients and Projects

Hudson Trailer Company’s work can be found in golf, hospitality, tourism, food and beverage, retail, and experiential settings.

At Atlantic Fields in Hobe Sound, Florida, Hudson Trailer Company transformed three authentic vintage trailers into a ninth-hole hospitality destination. The collection includes a 1957 Airstream bar, a 1948 Spartan mobile pro shop, and a 1952 Spartanette restroom facility with separate men’s, women’s, and accessible accommodations. Together, the units create a coordinated hospitality experience that blends golf-course functionality with the character of original vintage design.

For Kohler, Hudson Trailer Company sourced and transformed a 1949 Chevrolet Loadmaster into a fully equipped commercial food truck for a Wisconsin golf property. The original flatbed was removed, the chassis was extended, and a custom kitchen body was built to create a distinctive food and beverage amenity for the course.

For Visit Jacksonville, Hudson Trailer Company created a mobile visitor center and branded activation trailer designed to travel among festivals, beaches, parks, and community events. The project includes flexible display and storage space, a surfboard-inspired feature table, LED lighting, and a solar-power system that supports operation in a variety of locations.

These projects demonstrate the range of Hudson Trailer Company’s work, but they share a common purpose: creating a highly functional space that feels intentional, memorable, and specific to the client.

Why Clients Choose Hudson Trailer Company

Clients choose Hudson Trailer Company when the finished project must do more than function.

They come to us when the space needs to complement a luxury property, become a recognizable part of a guest experience, support a demanding commercial operation, travel as a branded activation, or give new purpose to an authentic vintage platform.

Our work brings together concept development, platform sourcing, commercial layout planning, equipment coordination, custom fabrication, integrated plumbing and electrical systems, interior and exterior design, and final testing.

We understand that a custom mobile bar, commercial kitchen, Airstream conversion, retail unit, or hospitality activation represents a significant investment. Our responsibility is to create a project that looks considered, operates effectively, and reflects the level of the brand or property it serves.

A Clear Distinction

Hudson Trailer Company is a Jacksonville, Florida design and fabrication company specializing in custom mobile hospitality, food and beverage, retail, vintage vehicle, and branded activation projects.

Hudson Trailer Company is not affiliated with Hudson Trailer Manufacturing or Hudson Trailers, a separate manufacturer established in 1970 that produces flatbed, dump, equipment, utility, and landscape trailers.
